Pricing below $300 unlocked, optimus t, has been a great success for LG, selling over a million phones in just a month... So here's my short detailed review after using it for almost a month.

Build Quality
Phone itself feels sophisticated and tough in hands, silky plastic finish at the back is quite satisfying and has a nice feel. It is extremely resistant to scratches and mine has none after a rough usage of a month. Phone is tough and after dropping it around 4-5 times straight to floor, phone didn't show any problem. Above the screen though, the body seems little too thin and weak, and pressing it so hard would squeeze it straight on screen. Camera lens is durable but is slightly prone to dust, but that's not a big deal, cleaning it once in a while with a cloth should deal with it. Overall, this phone is well designed and has a nice build quality for its price... I'd give it a 7 out of 10 for build quality.
Specs and Performance
It performs decently, and it powerful enough for regular usage. 600MHz processor bundled with 128 MBs of RAM is enough power for carrying out regular tasks like messaging, casual browsing, playing videos and light games. But phone starts lagging once filled with lots of widgets on home screen and once your inbox is full of messages even scrolling is little laggy. Web pages load fine, but scrolling and zooming again is a little crammpy. Phone has a QVGA screen, and brightness has to turned on to full, to view in direct sunlight. Games like NFS shift do work, but again with a slight lag, but angry birds is not at all playable. Gangster 2 does work however. All in all, this phone is a nice performance for its price... I'd give it an overall of 6 of 10, for performance.
Battery Life
It sports a 1500 Million Ampere Li-ion battery, which is quite good for a phone like this. The phone easily lasts for 2 days on low to medium usage, like text messaging and listening to songs, on a full charge. Forgeting to kill back grounds apps or even filling up home screens with a lot of widgets would result in complete drain of battery in 5-7 hours, and that on stand-by mode, which is quite ridiculous because android is actually known for customization and clearly, android's poor back ground app management is responsible for that. Overall, battery is good on this phone unless you are an app and widget freak, and i'd give it a 6/10 for battery life.
Final Verdict
So, all in all, the phone is really worth purchasing and at $300, its an amazing value for money. This phone is the best phone in its price range compared to the htc wildfire and samsung galaxy 5, this is much better.
